We are committed to serving our Michigan community

ÆPEX Contemporary Performance is a Michigan-centered organization, which means we are focused on meeting the needs of local audiences.

Along these lines, we keep ticket costs as low as possible, and almost all of our concerts are either open to the public or permit admission on a pay-what-you-can basis. Moreover, we live video stream many of our concerts from our facebook page, so anyone across Michigan, and beyond, can enjoy our performances for free.

We build essential partnerships

ÆPEX is a small organization, and we know that we need the right partners to fully serve our audiences. From our first season on, we have excelled at making critical connections with organizations, businesses, venues, and other institutions in and out of the arts in order to innovate our concert offerings and design them in a way that respects the experience of communities who are impacted by our programming.
